Kayaking down the LA River is one of the most exciting recreational experiences LA has to offer. Our goal is to get you on the river for you to learn about its rich history and exciting future. We provide you with top quality kayaks and provide you with all the support needed for an enjoyable trip. LA River Kayaks is back for our 10th season! We start on Memorial Day and operate every weekend through the end of September from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

LA River Kayaks is a 501 c3 non-profit organization whose mission is to support public awareness and access to the LA River. Your ticket helps support the MRCA (Mountains Recreation Conservation Authority) who help preserve and maintain the LA River recreation zone and we help employ at-risk youth.
As advocates of public recreational use of the LA River, our goal is to ensure your kayaking experience is the best possible. Children 10 and up are invited. Those under 18 need an adult with them. No one under ten may participate.
